New to our April May timetable:
Pilates for Wellness, Tuesday 5.30pm at Havering College:
This fabulous course takes a mindful approach to Pilates. Join Wendy for a restful and restorative class that combines a range of Pilates moves, breathing and relaxation to help to promote well-being.
This gentle approach to Pilates will enable you to take time out for yourself and focus on your well-being in a supportive and relaxed environment. Bring along a blanket and enjoy a Pilates class that will ease away the stresses of the working day or your busy life.
Yoga & Pilates Pump, Wednesday 7pm at Barking and Dagenham College:
This upbeat class will keep you moving with a dynamic Yoga asana practice and flowing Pilates moves which are fantastic for toning, stretching and balancing the body. Let’s put a spring in your step and a smile on your face. Wednesday 7pm at Barking and Dagenham College.
Functional Pilates, Saturday 10am at Havering College:
Following on from the Essential Pilates course, we will continue to practice the 15 Essential moves, exploring movement, strength and back care. This course will complement the stresses and demands we have on our bodies in everyday life.
Our most popular classes returning:
Pilates: We have classes that are perfect for beginners, slowly introducing you to Pilates moves and gently encouraging you to progress over a course. These classes are always fun and uplifting. We also have mixed ability classes where those of you who want to work a little harder, can do so.
Pilates & Yoga Fusion: This really is the best of both worlds! A class where Pilates moves, and Yoga poses are seamlessly linked together into a tapestry of movement and breath.
Yoga and Meditation: After the amazing success of our Yoga and Meditation classes, we will continue to provide classes on Tuesday and Thursday evening at Havering College. For the Tuesday class each week we will introduce a new concept for meditation with a guided practice and notes sent by email to continue your practice at home. This course is perfect for complete beginners or anyone who finds it difficult to meditate and would like to learn more. There will be a gentle physical asana practice within this class and the class will end with essential oils or lavender eye pillows to give you the best night’s sleep. Please get in touch to secure your space. The Thursday class works with a mindful approach, weaving affirmations and mantras into the practice to bring about enlightenment and exploration of self.
Hatha Yoga Flow: There are weekly Yoga classes on Monday and Wednesday evening where you can enjoy an hour of blissful Yoga. These classes have a physical aspect where you will have the opportunity to deepen your practice and then let go, release stress, breath and relax. All classes end with a guided meditation.
Barre Pilates: Barre Pilates is a fusion of Ballet and Pilates, it's the most fabulous legs and bottom workout, as well as perfect for improving posture and strengthening the whole body. You don't need any Pilates, Ballet or Barre experience to come along and enjoy these fun classes.
Don't miss it, Switch it! If you are going on holiday, have an appointment or are unwell, you can switch to another class for the number of sessions you miss. This can be any class, before (or after) your absence, ideally taken before your course ends. Switches cannot be used as credit, to book your next course.
