Pilates Rejuvenating Retreat Day
Celebrate Pilates with our summer wellbeing day and afternoon tea
This special day is designed for anyone who enjoys Pilates or wants to discover more about it. 

It is a day to indulge in a delightful experience of self-care and wellness. Everyone is welcome, with options to either unwind or advance throughout the day.

You can choose the sessions you would like to attend and explore the different levels, progressions and modifications of Pilates techniques taught.

This day promises to be a wholehearted celebration of Pilates and wellness, featuring an outdoor Pilates class and concluding with afternoon tea in the beautiful grounds of Ardleigh House (weather permitting).

​This day is open to everyone including complete beginners.  We look forward to welcoming you and spending the day together.

Date: 11th July 2026 
Venue:  Ardleigh House, Ardleigh Green
Cost: Early bird starter £55 or Elevenses starter £45
Includes complementary drinks, healthy snacks, scones and homemade cake


Join us at 9.30am for 'Early bird starters'
9.30am - 10.30am - Matwork Pilates with Pauline
Start your wellness day with a 'Pilates Fix' to wake up your mind and energise your physical body.  This fun packed lesson will introduce you to the intentions and benefits of Matwork Pilates.

Join us at 11am for 'Elevenses starters'
Choose from one of the 2 options below:


Option 1: 11am – 12 noon Barre Pilates with Adriana
Join us for a fabulous 'Barre Pilates class'. This fun and energising Barre Pilates class will give you a fabulous and uplifting workout for the whole body.

Option 2: 11am – 12 noon Standing Pilates in the Gardens of Ardleigh House - with Wendy
Wendy will teach a wonderful pilates session in the gardens of Ardleigh House, embracing the outside to enhance your practice and promote wellbeing. This session would include introducing the use of a stick/pole which will promote confidence with balance and encourage a new perspective for standing Pilates practice.

12.15pm – 1.15pm Pilates for wellbeing - with Wendy
This session focuses on improving your wellbeing, with a special emphasis on self-care for your diligent hands and feet. We will include stretches and exercises designed to relax, mobilize, and care for your hands and feet, as well as your arms and legs.

1.15pm – 1.45pm Stretch and relaxation - with Wendy
Make time to stretch out and enjoy a guided relaxation to complete your physical wellness programme for the day.

1.45pm – 2.30pm Afternoon tea and cake
Enjoy a cup of tea, scone and homemade cake to round off your day. The perfect finish to your day so you return home with a warm and uplifting feeling in your tummy and in yourself.

Wendy Allen's professional career has been in social work and learning and development. However away from work she has a lifelong interest in keeping fit and healthy with exercise and the outdoors.
 
Wendy discovered Pilates (with Pauline) and it very quickly became her new passion. Having completed all the courses Pauline had to offer, Wendy completed her level 3 Diploma in Classical Mat Pilates in 2017 and has been teaching Pilates and receiving amazing reviews ever since.
 
Wendy believes that the principles of Pilates improve the quality of everyday life. It makes us physically stronger with a mindful approach and creates a sense of space to ease us through our busy schedules.
