Somatic self-care movement - (delivered online)
Somatic movement uses super-slow, controlled movements to build sensory awareness, support the release of physical and mental tension and create a feeling of spaciousness within the body and mind.
The movements are primarily mat-based and lying on the floor (some may be seated or standing). For every movement, the focus is to move with minimal effort (no forcing or pushing).
The benefits of regular practice include:

Tai Chi Qigong (chi kung) for well-being - (delivered online)
The Shibashi Qigong sequences offer a series 18 gentle, flowing, moving postures with breathwork to support mental and physical wellbeing and spiritual development. They can be described as a mindful, moving meditation.

Hula Hoop Fun
If you are looking at a fun and uplifting way to burn some unwanted calories in 2021, join Bisi for this introduction to Hula. Bisi will get you started so you can smile and hula away the unwanted calories every day!

Due to Covid-19 and social distancing measures, our face to face workshop spaces are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. This session will focus on creating space and awareness in the body and will include:
- a soma (body) scan to build inner awareness
- a maximum of 3-4 techniques covering the whole body
- a soma scan to integrate and increase awareness of changes.
